TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS FOR ROHRMAN Monday 4th March 2019
The Royal Police Force of Antigua & Barbuda will be putting in place traffic restrictions around Ffryes Beach to facilitate the safe running of the AUA Rohrman Triathlon on the morning of Saturday 9th March. The race will see over 150 athletes including dozens of regional and international athletes compete in 10 triathlons.
Use entrance/exit to Ffryes Beach marked in yellow
Ffryes Beach and all businesses at Ffryes remain open for the entire day. Spectators are encouraged to come down and enjoy a world-class competition. The main entrance to Ffrryes will be blocked from 5am until about midday with the second entrance to be used.
Drive with care on race course
Drivers may be stopped before entering the bike race course between Ffryes and Urlings and allowed to drive once safe to do so. This road will NOT be closed but drivers are asked to drive with extreme care on this road between the hours of 7am and 10am. Persons are asked not to park anywhere on this main road.
Be cautious of runners
Runners will be using the loop inside of Ffryes so please exercise caution when driving into Ffryes and please allow runners to pass freely so as not to interrupt the race.
