The Barbuda Blue Halo initiative is a comprehensive ocean zoning project launched in collaboration with local government and the Waitt Foundation with a goal of sustainable management.

This is an introduction to the Waitt Foundation’s Barbuda Ocean Initiative. In essence, this is about people – preserving livelihoods and culture by sustainably managing ocean resources. It’s about how within reach that is, not just for Barbuda, but for other locations as well.
