MISSION
The Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Fisheries & Barbuda Affairs will be the engine of advancement for its divisions and stakeholders through the application of modern and emerging practices designed to strengthen food security initiatives, efficient land use management and sustainable development of natural resources thereby contributing to the well being of Antiguans & Barbudans, consistent with national objectives and stakeholders expectations.

LANDS DIVISION
The Land Division is responsible for the overall management and administration of properties owned by the state.
This includes:
•Preparation and recommendation of policy guidelines for the sustainable management of Crown Lands;
•Processing of applications for purchase/lease of Crown Property;
•Collection of revenue from sales and or lease and rental of Crown Lands
•Processing legal transfers for properties sold by the Government
•Collaboration with other Ministries and agencies on the identification and designation of land for various uses.
•Processing of non-citizens application for licenses.
VETERINARY AND LIVESTOCK DIVISION
This division covers the requirements for bringing in pets, for housing livestock and for importing meats or any other animal product.
FORESTRY DIVISION
The Forestry Unit is the official governmental agency in Antigua & Barbuda that is responsible for wildlife and the conservation and management of the nation’s terrestrial biological diversity.
