UFV DONATES TO SIR REGINALD SAMUEL CLASSIC Monday 22nd April 2013
The University of the Fraser Valley, British Colombia, Canada, has come forward to assist the CPTSA Wings Sports Club with the hosting of the 5th Annual Sir Reginald Samuel Track & Field Classic, scheduled for May 4 & 5, 2013 at the YASCO grounds.
UFV will donate 35 sets of engraved medals for the Meet. The required amount needed is 120 sets.
Meanwhile, and according to Joanna Sheppard, Instructor of Kinesiology and Physical Education, a group of students of UFV will visit Antigua from April 26, for a few weeks.
The students will be assisting with the Physical Education programs in the schools and will engage in teaching Life Skills and other health and sports activities on island. The group will also assist with the officiating at the Sir Reginald Samuel Track & Field Classic.
