SJA with flag leads the March Past of teams at the Volleyball Opening
The 2013 Inter-schools’ Volleyball League got off with a short ceremonial start on Tuesday, February 5, at the YMCA Indoor Volleyball Gym.
The Opening was addressed by Asst. Director of Sports Evans (Jawaki) Jones, Pastor Jason Richards, and Vice President of the ABVA, Henry Matthew.
The winners and MVP’s of last year were awarded their trophies, sponsored by Cool & Smooth.
Nine female teams will contest the Girls’ Division, while six (6) boys’ teams will compete in the Boys’ Division.
Antigua Girls High School team 1 are the defending Girls’ Division Champions , while the Antigua Grammar School will seek to defend the Boys’ title.
The officials of the Schools’ Volleyball are Rosely Lewis—Coordinator, Urvin Lewis and Henry Matthew.
