11TH ANNUAL CPTSA FEMALE FOOTBALL HIGHLIGHTS Monday 19th November 2012
The 11th Annual CPTSA Female Football Tournament continued on Saturday, November 17, at the Johnson’s Football Stadium with Town House Mega Store Ottos Tigress only managing to put All Saints away from the penalty spot, 1 – 0.
Both teams had very little chances at goal, Ottos Tigress with 7 chances and All Saints 2 attempts, but no one converted. It was a handled ball in the All Saints 18yds box in the 42 minute of the game that Yeshid Young of Tigress took advantage of at the penalty spot.
On Sunday evening, Novem-ber, November 18, Lady Hoppers Princesses continued their winning ways with a 4—0 drubbing of CPTSA Wings, in the Girls U-18 Division.
From Lady Hoppers Prin-cesses 17 attempts at goal, Nandy Henry converted 2, Myia Kirwan 1, and Cadeeja Proctor 1.
The second match-up of the night between Ottos Tigress and Lady Hoppers, in the Women’s Division, was a much better display of football skills.
However, Lady Hoppers out-played their opponents for a 3—0 victory.
Alix Martin was the first to find net in the 7th minute. Then, it was Trich-Ann Grant in the 22nd and Tasika Bailey in the 47 minute.
Lady Hoppers took 12 shots at goal, while Ottos Tigress man-aged only 5 chances.
