The 11th Annual CPTSA Female Football Tournament kicked off on Saturday night, November 10, at the Johnson’s Football Stadium with only one game, in which defending champions, 5P’s stamped their superiority on Town House Mega Store Ottos Tigress 5—1.
Two of 5P’s goals came from Kai Jacobs at the penalty spot, one in the first half and the other in the second. Jacobs succeeded in converting another in a scramble in the Tigress’ defense.
5P’s had gone ahead in the 4th minute of play with a shot from Elyse Smith past Mahlah Benta, the Tigress goalkeeper, but Ishenellie Nash soon equalized with a clear chance on Delka Alfred, the 5P’s custodian.
A free kick taken by 5P’s Beau Bailey, closed off the night’s affair.
