Five young ladies of the Wings Volleyball unit graduated from the Christ the King High School at a Graduation Service at the Holy Family Cathedral on Friday, June 29, 2012.
All five were also the back-bone of the Christ the King High School Volleyball team, coached by Wings Volleyball Coach, Jose Otto.
Chekiyah Martin, the captain of the CKHS Volleyball team received the over-all Sportswoman Award for her improved and outstanding playing throughout the years at CKHS. Martin was an integral part of the Antigua/Barbuda National Youth Volleyball during the last two seasons.
Other improved players who graduated were Cecelia Zeng, Susan Wu, George-Ann Ryan and Fernella Francis. Coach Jose Otto, who is presently in the USA and the entire CPTSA Wings Sports Club congratulate all the graduates.The Awards were presented by Senior Offi-cer in the Ministry of Education, Mr. Clare Browne.
