COCA-COLA JR. TOURNAMENT Wednesday 1st August 2012
This competition was said to be of a high caliber with quality matches on display.
The curtains came down on the Coco Cola Jr. tournament on Wednesday 1st August, 2012.
Nine year old Ashley Bersma who is now transitioning from the 10 & under competitions,
made us proud claiming the finalist position in the girls 12 & under competition. Bersma lost to
Meggan Williams of St. Lucia 3-10.
The boys 12 & under competition also showed some positive results as Nicholas Fuller who like
Ashley Bersma is playing their first competition outside of Antigua, made it to semifinals in both
The singles and doubles competition.
Also competing was Aiden Fuller who proved that he could stand up with the bigger boys. Competition is the key to development and we encourage these athletes to continue working hard. We thank the parents and coaches who saw the need for these athletes to get this exposure and encourage them to continue striving.
