ANTIGUA JUMPS INTO JAMAICA JUNIORS Tuesday 17th July 2012
ITF Jamaica Junior tournament under 18 main draw competition kicked off yesterday, Monday, July 16, 2012.
Antigua's under 18 players Jody Maginley and (Seaboard Marine sponsored) Kyle Joseph
did not fare well yesterday in the first round of this competition

Singles
Christian Cargill (BAH) def Jody Maginley (ANT) 6-2, 6-1
Paredes A. Alfonzo (VEH) def Kyle Joseph (ANT) 6-2 6-1
Though both players are out of the singles competition there is hope yet as they look forward
to the doubles competition which commences today, July 17, 2012. Kyle Joseph has teamed up
with Bahamian Phillip Major while Jody Maginley teamed up with American Daniel Shebshayevich.
Antigua's D'Jeri Raymond had a rest day yesterday, but is expected to play today in
her third singles match and doubles finals after receiving a BYE to the doubles finals as the #1 seed with her doubles partner Shaeda Nickle (JAM)
