NEW COVID-19 TESTING REQUIREMENTS FOR US PASSENGERS Wednesday 27th January 2021
The U.S. government requires all passengers, including U.S. citizens, two years of age and older traveling to the United States from any international location to test negative for COVID-19 within three calendar days of departure.
To provide customers with additional flexibility, AA are waiving the fare difference for customers with tickets purchased on or before January 12, 2021 with travel scheduled January 12 to February 9. These customers may rebook in the same cabin of service with no charge for the same origin and destination; and new travel must start on or before January 25.
Customers who are unable to travel on or before January 25 can still take advantage of our other policies that waive change fees. More details, including frequently asked questions, can be found here.
