PARTY NIGHTS, RESTAURANT REOPENING AND MORE ON THIS WEEK

DINING & NIGHTLIFE

Abracadabra is open for two more weekends for the summer, and this weekend, come out to dance the night away to music by DJ Quixx on Friday with his open format, remixes and mash-ups, and Jahny Gwaap on Saturday bringing you old and new school reggae and R&B.

Fans of Cloggy’s Café will be pleased to know that they are reopening for the season this Saturday, serving up lunch from Wednesday through Saturday, with their famous Sunday Brunch each week. Join them soon for a delectable meal in a stunning location and stay tuned for more details on upcoming party nights.

On Saturday evening, Al Porto hosts a Formal Dinner and Fashion Show, featuring an authentic 3-course Italian dinner, with their regular menu also available, and a Carnival Fashion Show from Calvin Southwell’s Mas troupe Beautiful People, displaying the exceptional costumes that were worn this year. The price is EC$75 for dinner, not including drinks, and reservations are recommended.

The Crow’s Nest hosts a Pool Party this Sunday from 2:00 pm through to midnight with entertainment by the famous Chickie Hi-Fi.

Half price starters continue at Sugar Club each evening except for Wednesdays, when you dine with them with a regular priced main course, once you have subscribed to their mailing list and received the promo code. Weekly dining specials at Sugar Club include Caribbean Night on Mondays, 241 Steak Night on Wednesdays with live music by Rawden Edwards, Seafood Night each Friday and party nights on Saturdays with DJ Purist.

Come out to The Bay Restaurant at Nonsuch Bay Resort before thier final BBQ Sunday on 1st September, featuring fantastic food by their award winning Caribbean Chef Mitchell Husbands. 

Visit Sheer Rocks Restaurant before they close for a break on September 8th and enjoy a delicious dinner or Tapas Sunday in one of the most beautiful locations on island. Stay tuned for details on their closing party.

CCSET is offering 50 US-based athletic scholarships for September 2014 and are calling all athletes, coaches, teachers and others interested in getting involved in the programme to contact them to participate.
