LEARN TO SAIL ANTIGUA STYLE NEWSLETTER
Friday 1st July 2011

Dear Readers:
Summer has now officially arrived in Antigua and while the seasonal changes are not quite as evident as they may be in more northern climes, for those of us who live in Antigua they are definitely evident, especially the quieter trade winds that make for wonderful boating weather all summer long!  And so . . .

. . . what better time than the summer and early fall to learn to sail in Antigua?  During this quieter tourist season it can be more economical to do that yacht training course you’ve been thinking about.  Combine it with a yacht charter of a week or more and you have the perfect combination of education and relaxation.  Read on for more information on the various options.

Many of Antigua’s Marine Trades businesses are open for business as usual all summer long, so take advantage of the quiet season to get all those nagging jobs done that you’ve been putting off forever!

Antigua Yacht Club will be sending a team of six youths to the Chief Minister’s International Youth Regatta in Tortola, BVI next month in what will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase the success of the youth sailing programs in Antigua.  We wish the team much success!

Here’s hoping that everyone has happy, healthy and fun summer! Click here to read this newsletter
