St. John Hospice, which opened its doors on December 01, 2011 received a donation from Women Who Care, a wonderful group of women who do care and give of their time to help others.

This time the donation was in the form of a cheque in the amount of EC $9,350, representing the monies collected during the whole of 2011 from the sale of their Saturday Used Book Sales, held outside Epicurean at Woods and Jolly Harbour, and other fund raising activities.

Women Who Care have been supporting St. John Hospice work for the past two years, including 'adopting,' one of the home palliation care patients, and paying towards the cost of her care.
