DIGICEL BRAND AMBASSADOR RICARDO DRUE GOES FOR GROOVY MONARCH TITLE IN TRINIDAD AND TOBAGOWednesday 11th February 2015
This week’s upcoming International Soca Monarch show will see Ricardo Drue, Digicel Brand Ambassador and Antigua and Barbuda’s 2014 Power Soca winner, entertaining crowds at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Trinidad and Tobago with his hit song, ‘Vagabond’, on Friday, 13 February.
The song has gained tremendous popularity and support throughout the carnival season and has built such a strong connection among fete goers that it is now a strong contender to win the Groovy Monarch competition.
“To win the title is my goal but a few things must be considered; a good song, a strong on-stage presence and most importantly, votes. The votes will be added to my overall score so I am encouraging my Digicel family in Antigua and Barbuda to text DRUE to 4768 as many times as you can before 6pm on Friday 13th February. Each text is only $0.29 cents. I assure the fans that I will give my best performance that will hopefully be enough to capture the Groovy Monarch title on Friday night.
“The competition will be fierce as there will be a number of top performers and past title winners so I will have to bring my ‘A’ game on Friday. I am proud to have gotten this far and my team and I are ready to do something ‘extraordinary’ on Friday for our fans,” he concluded.
