Nordel’s bags are packaged and on January 15, he is off on his journey to see his favourite team, Chelsea FC battle Manchester United FC at Stamford Bridge in London.
 

Nordel was elated at his win and commented that “I spent a few years of my life growing up in Old Road village where I first fell in love with football. As a young adult, as my love for the sport grew, I became a huge fan of Chelsea FC.   I entered the competition as fan, but never in a million years did I really think that I would be getting a call from Digicel. This prize means so much me and I have to pinch myself. To this day I still cannot believe that my dream to visit Stamford Bridge and see Chelsea FC play is really going to happen.   Thank you Digicel!”

Nordel’s journey will begin in Barbados where he will meet nine (9) other winners from across the Digicel Caribbean. The group will then be off to the UK on Thursday the 16h with a packed itinerary to include the excitement of the Chelsea versus Man-U match, tour of the Stamford Bridge Football stadium, tours around London to include the largest Caribbean community in Brixton. And, what trip would not be complete without a visit to the Westfield Mall.
