DIGICEL OPENS THREE NEW STORES FOR 4G LTE LAUNCH
Wednesday 10th October 2012

In anticipation of the upcoming launch of Digicel’s 4G LTE home internet, the telecommunications company is giving its stores an exciting upgrade which promises customers an even better experience.

As well as adding a 3rd store and doubling the size of the popular Redcliffe Street store as part of the upgrade, the stores boast the best in new technologies making them more interactive and user friendly for customers, as well as showcasing the benefits of Digicel’s 4G and 4G LTE home internet.

The strategic plan sees Digicel closing the Woods Mall store and merging it with the Royal Palm store as well as opening a new store at the Town House Plaza.

Digicel’s Commercial Manager, Janice Sutherland, said; “Expanding and relocating was critical to the business as our customer base continues to grow significantly. The rationale of the Townhouse Plaza store on All Saints and American road is to further expand Digicel’s retail footprint and bring Digicel to customers on that side of the island.”

Now that the stores are open to the public for business, Digicel CEO, Victor Corcoran, thanked everyone for their patience and understanding during the renovation period which took place over the past few weeks.

“As part of our promise to deliver the best service to our customers, we believe our renovation was necessary but are delighted to be introducing the latest technologies available and making the Digicel experience even more interactive for customers. We believe we have now delivered the retail outlets on the island – if not the Caribbean – and we hope our customers continue to enjoy our retail experience.”

To celebrate the new store launch, Digicel has pulled the stops on many giveaways and massive discounts on handsets at their Royal Palm & Redcliffe street stores for one day only this Friday, October 12th 2012.

The first fifty customers to buy the 4G compatible Coral V857 handset with SIM will receive a massive discount of $200. For the BlackBerry enthusiasts, there will be a $100 discount on the BlackBerry Curve 9320 smartphone to the first fifty customers who choose to purchase at the Royal Palm store on that day.

Everyone is invited to celebrate with Digicel as they promise to make the new store launch memorable.

Opening and closing hours for the Redcliffe Street and Royal Palm stores is 8am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday and the Town House Store opens from 9am to 6pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9am to 2pm on Thursdays and 9am to 5pm on Fridays.
