BILL CANFIELD AND THE CSA OFFER TRAINING ASSISTANCE
Thursday 11th December 2014

Bill Canfield and the CSA are offering to assist the Caribbean region in the training and certifying of Race Officers and Judges.  There are currently very few of these certified persons in the region, and they are vital to regattas and yacht clubs, so recruitment and training is very important to everyone.

All interested parties who would like to gain more experience and eventually ISAF Certification as international judges and race officers should contact Bill Canfield at his email address listed below.  Applicants should have the backing of their local member national authorities to ISAF and create a resume with race organization experience.  Those with no experience are welcome to apply, but their track will be different than those with experience.

The goal will be to get those with experience more regatta exposure, and those without experience to receive initial training.

Everyone is encouraged to view the ISAF website under Race Officials where there are tremendous resources in the way of manuals for all parts of regatta management.

Bill Canfield can also provide a short course on basic race committee operations.

Please contact Bill Canfield at
Canfieldvi@gmail.com for more info, questions and to register your interest.
