Art At The Ridge is delighted to be named in The Top Ten Art Galleries in the Caribbean by The Culture Trip – a one-stop website for travellers interested in the best local art and culture around the world.  It has an audience in over 200 countries and is based in London, UK.  The Culture Trip aims to direct travellers to handpicked and culturally significant organisations worldwide.

In a recent article on The Culture Trip’s website it is noted that Art At The Ridge supports local artists with regular exhibitions and events, as well as the opportunity to buy a number of Antiguan artworks and crafts.  The article also notes that Art At The Ridge is a popular spot for both tourists and local art lovers alike.

Other featured galleries in the Caribbean are Tides Art Gallery in Barbados, Galerie Monnin in Haiti, Mutual Gallery and NLS in Jamaica, OBRA Galerie in Puerto Rico, The Inner Gallery in St Lucia, Bajo El Sol Art Gallery in St John in the Virgin Islands, Gallery St Thomas in the Virgin Islands and Avistamientos Gallery in Cuba.

Art At The Ridge is based at Sugar Ridge Village, near Jolly Harbour, in the west of Antigua.  It opened over a year and features over 60 Antiguan artists and craftspeople.  Art exhibitions are held regularly at Sugar Club (also in Sugar Ridge Village) where artwork is displayed throughout the year. Other art and craft events are organised throughout the island, including the Schoolchildren’s Christmas Card competition.
