EDUCATION, SPORTS, GENDER & YOUTH AFFAIRS

Dear All,

 

We are soon on our way to St Lucia - all swimmers are continuing to train hard and we are presently preparing for their departure on Thursday & Friday.  We will return home on Sunday evening & Monday.  Wish us luck and we hope to bring back medals to make Antigua & Barbuda proud of the young swimmers hard work all year long. 

Please note that in addition to screening the OECS Championships live,  there will be live web-streaming on www.winnerstv.com - a great opportunity for family members who are unable to travel to watch the competition.

 

Winners TV will be recording and broadcasting the event - this time they will also air it LIVE on LIME CH 80 and Karib Cable CH 55 and online at www.winnerstv.com Winners TV is St. Lucia's and the OECS' only 24 hour sports television station. Every day we have thousands of viewers and we also have the region's ONLY weekly Swimming/Watersports Talk Show with David and Jamie Peterkin. Incidentally David and Jamie will be sharing hosting duties over the 3 day period. We have LIVE interviews with swimmers coaches, officials and parents to get insight into what it takes to prepare for such a competition.
