FIFA WORLD CUP QUALIFIER: ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA VS HAITI Monday 24th October 2011
The Antigua and Barbuda National Football team, which is enjoying the best FIFA ranking of 90, is preparing for the toughest challenge to date.
The team will take on Caribbean football power house Haiti, in a World Cup Qualifier, on November 11, at Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Grounds.
A win at home will give team Antigua and Barbuda an unassailable lead at the top of the group and would ensure their continuance on the road to Brazil 2014.
A win in the away leg of the Haiti encounter, on November 15, would see the country moving up to 70 in the world.
This moment in Antigua and Barbuda's football history is significant, not just for the team and the football fraternity, but for the nation. Their success is our success.
It is in this regard that we are seeking to enlist your support for a campaign dubbed 11-11-11: This Is The Big One.
The aim is to whip up national support for the team and the game, which should culminate in a massive show of support at the stadium on game day.
