UNPREPARED GROUND FORCES POSTPONED OF FEMALE FOOTBALL MATCHES Tuesday 2nd November 2010
Games in the 9th Annual CPTSA Female Football Tournament scheduled for Saturday, October 30th had to be called off due to the unreadiness of the YASCO Football Field.
Apparently, Police Sports Club had retrieved one of the goals at YASCO belonging to them, for a FA match earlier in the week at the Police Recreation Grounds. The YASCO grounds have been without a goal for a while now, since no one can account for the disappearance of one of the original goals. As such, groups using the YASCO grounds have been borrowing one of the Police goals for their matches.
The Organizers of the Female Football Tournament de-cided to call off the games since the situation was coupled with the inclement weather with no where at YASCO for players and spectators to shelter.
Matches in the 9th Annual CPTSA Female Football Tournament will continue this coming Saturday, No-vember 6, at YASCO.
Police will play Empress at 4:30 P.M.
5P’s come up against Lady Sap at 5:45 P.M.
Villa Lions play Ottos Tigress at 7:00 P.M.
All postponed games will be rescheduled at a later date. Click here for all News and Specials for Sports, Trade, Industry and Commerce & Culture
