TWAC18 ARRIVALS ROLLING INTuesday 22nd January 2019
It’s been a busy week so far in Nelson’s Dockyard with the arrivals of the first 6 teams (plus one this afternoon!) in the 2018 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. Crossing the finish line first a week ago were the Dutch Atlantic Four, with an elapsed time of 34 days, 12 hours, and 9 minutes, short of the 29 day World Record set last year. Since then we have seen a World Record fall, with the Nauti Buoys, competing as a 5-man team, setting a new World Record of 36 days, 19 hours, and 9 minutes.
