TWAC18 ARRIVALS ROLLING IN
Tuesday 22nd January 2019

It’s been a busy week so far in Nelson’s Dockyard with the arrivals of the first 6 teams (plus one this afternoon!) in the 2018 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. Crossing the finish line first a week ago were the Dutch Atlantic Four, with an elapsed time of 34 days, 12 hours, and 9 minutes, short of the 29 day World Record set last year. Since then we have seen a World Record fall, with the Nauti Buoys, competing as a 5-man team, setting a new World Record of 36 days, 19 hours, and 9 minutes.

Head over to the Atlantic Campaigns Facebook page for live feeds of each arrival so far, and to get all updates on upcoming arrivals.

Our Team Antigua Island Girls are still powering ahead toward home, and their current (and ever-changing) ETA is Tuesday 29th January. Stay tuned to the tracker for their arrival time along with the other teams. Check the leaderboard for the ETAs and account for local time (-4 hours).

Follow the Team Antigua Island Girls Facebook page for regular updates from the team as they approach home, and get your flags ready – one week to their arrival! DONATE to their charity, the Cottage of Hope, for a morale boost for the team, and pick up a t-shirt to show your support!
