LORD NELSON VOYAGE FROM ANTIGUA NOW BOOKING
Tuesday 13th January 2015

On 27th January, the Jubilee Sailing Trust’s Lord Nelson, will be setting sail from Antigua to spend a glorious 14 days sailing to the beautiful Bahamas where she’ll be calling in to the BVI’s and the Turks and Caicos along the way. From here she’ll then be embarking on an 11 day island-hopping voyage, exploring some of the best islands in the Bahamas and discovering some fantastic wildlife. After this excellent island-hopping adventure, Lord Nelson will then set sail across the ocean to the brilliant island of Bermuda.

Not only will passengers get to experience these fantastic destinations, but at the same time they will also be learning how to sail a remarkable tall ship. Setting the sails, helming the ship and climbing the mast are just a few of the things the crew will do.

Lord Nelson is one of only two accessible tall ships in the world that was designed and built to accommodate a wide range of physical disabilities. Features on board include wheelchair lifts between decks, a speaking compass, braille signage, hearing loops and a bowsprit that is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair. So no matter what physical ability passengers are, they will become a vital part of the crew.
