Out of ten canine contestants, the Team at Good Morning Antigua and Barbuda chose Hope as the cutest dog photo winner. William Dorsett of the GMAB team said, “of all the contestants, we thought Hope was unique, her face seemed to say although I only have two legs, I am still enjoying life.”

Hope is one years old and belongs to Bill and Nora Nedden of PAAWS. She was one of a litter of 5 rescued by Nora from the supermarket car park and brought to PAAWS. At first glance Hope did not look much different from the other little bundles of fluff, but a closer look revealed a well formed rounded chest, but no front legs!

She was unable to get much of her mother’s milk so Nora fed her by hand. It’s quite a testament to PAAWS because it shows the kind of care they give the dogs, despite the drawbacks. 
 
Hope is now in the running for our Canine Cover Girl at the 4th Annual Antigua Dog Show, sponsored by Hutchinsons Pedigree, Sunday February 24th at the St Paul's Rectory Ground at Falmouth, 11:30-5:30. Congratulations Hope!
