The chefs of Sugar Ridge walked away big winners in the Mango Pineapple Culinary Cook Off held in early August as a prelude to the annual Mango Festival.

Carmichael's Chefs Lemuel Dubarry and Gregory Williams took first and second place, respectively, and Sugar Club Chef Michael Anthony was awarded third place. 

The winning dish was BBQ Duck stuffed with pineapple and sweet potato, braised with baby gem lettuce, prepared by Chef Duberry.

Carmichael's and Sugar Club will be featuring their chefs' winning dishes on their menus during September 2014.
