Join Antigua’s Independence Celebrations

On November 1st we’ll be celebrating our 38th anniversary of Independence!

Characterized by a week of colourful festivities, you can expect to see steel pan competitions, parades, food fairs, and the Antiguan flag flying high! There are guaranteed to be Dadli Day Fetes around the island as well.

Antigua’s flag was first risen on November 1, 1981, symbolizing Antigua’s past with slavery, present with the sun, sand and sea bringing travelers to our island, and hope for the future.

Eat, drink, and breathe Antigua by joining in on this year’s festivities! See the Independence Schedule
