As a Gold-certified Green Globe resort, Sugar Ridge is committed to constantly improve their environmental impact. This past year they’ve focused their efforts on energy efficiency by replacing conventional air conditioning units with split system units. These are approximately 40% more efficient, resulting in a smaller carbon footprint.

They have also been maintaining their own vegetable garden to produce as much herbs and vegetables as they can for use in the kitchen, as well as working with local farmers, so they can provide guests a true farm-to-table dining experience.

In 2019 they will be furthering their efforts with the organic garden as well as focusing on water usage to ensure they are using their resources responsibly.
