Mrs. Thomas and boy of the Boys Training Institute with members of VAB
Kathy Gotha, Pastor Oscar Cottam of Volunteer Antigua & Barbuda (VAB) and Carol-Faye George, manager of the Antigua & Barbuda Waste Recycling Corporation (ABWREC) and a member of VAB paid a visit to the Boys Training School on Wednesday.
While there they met with nine of the fourteen youth that reside at the institution. The focus and purpose of the visit was to make a donation of food stuff, clothing and pencil cases made from recycled materials contributed by members of the public VAB and ABWREC. While there the visitors also socialized with the young men, share information on recycling, future plans for the boys with VAB and the recycling facility.
VAB is appealing to the general public in making donations especially in the form of clothing, shoes and linen to the institution.
