YAMAHA OUTDOOR WORLD INTRODUCES APEX INFLATABLE BOATS
Wednesday 24th November 2010

APEX® boats reflect the commitment to quality which is an essential ingredient in the conception and manufacture of their designs.  As they insist on the highest quality, naturally they choose Dupont's Hypalon® for all of their boats. This unique, reinforced fabric used by all reputable manufacturers and requested in accordance with military, navy, and commercial specifications. This unique fabric provides the best possible resistance to damage from ultraviolet rays, oil and gasoline spills as well as from life's other little knocks - and their easy clean finish makes life easier too!

Features of all APEX Inflatable Boats

All APEX inflatables feature Hypalon® which is able to withstand wide temperature variations and affords owners the confidence to cruise tropical islands or explore Arctic regions, safe in the knowledge that their quality APEX® boat is built to withstand the elements.

APEX® boats are built to last. APEX® uses only heavy duty 1,000 Denier Hypalon® (1,000 Denier = approximately 1,100 Decitex) - for toughness - over a Polyester reinforcement - for stretch resistance - while Neoprene on the inside provides for superior air tightness.

BUT . . . WHY THE APEX'S SHAPE?

APEX®’s extensive experience and commitment to provide all customers with superb quality is reflected in the superior design of all APEX® boats. Many features are designed to make your life easier, like the non-marking, light grey raised rubrail which doesn't leave annoying streaks and marks on larger craft.  However, the most noticeable feature is the difference in shape between the APEX® inflatable and the average inflatable. The tubes of APEX® inflatables are designed with rounded ends rather than the more usual long cones. Although such a design costs more to make, it enables APEX® to minimize the overall length while maximizing the usable interior space.  In addition, the rounded ends allow APEX® to extend its protective raised rubrail around the entire boat - protecting your investment. Consider the interior space and not the exterior dimensions - isn't interior space what you’re looking for?

Remember . . . APEX® = maximum usable space, minimum storage needs!  APEX® is constantly striving to improve the performance and reliability of APEX® boats while maintaining a superior value for money. Certain design features are important to the customer in their search for a boat.

AND WHY BIGGER TUBES?

Quite simply, larger tubes provide greater buoyancy, more stability and more interior space - a big plus from a safety point of view.  As for comfort, larger tubes ensure a vastly better ride and minimize spray by keeping water outside the boat where it belongs, keeping you drier inside!

Features of APEX RIB Boats

DEEP ‘V’

For people wanting to combine the stability of an inflatable with high performance, RIBs are the perfect solution.  APEX® purchasers gain the advantage of a stable, high performance boat which weighs considerably less than a standard craft.  Other benefits of the APEX® RIB configuration are:  lighter on lift crane and davits; easily towed by a small car; easily stored and launchable in almost any situation - beach, boat or ramp; use of smaller motors and less gas due to less weight.

No wonder clients choose APEX® Inflatables both as sport boats and as yacht tenders.
An APEX® RIB minimizes the damage which often occurs when a solid tender is brought alongside, while reducing the weight and wear on davits and having incredibly low maintenance costs. What more could you ask for?  It’s simple - if you need an inflatable, ask APEX®!

The 'state of the art' V-shaped hulls used in the APEX® RIB combined with its other design features, ensure that your APEX® RIB will slice through the waves with ease, keep you dry, and get you to your destination in safety.

Features of APEX Roll Ups

APEX® Makes Roll Ups Fun and Easy

APEX® Roll-Ups provide you with the stability and performance of a full rigid floor, while offering exceptional ease of handling and storage. The hinged, segmented floor panels unroll to form a full rigid base and yet allow the boat to be rolled up easily with the floor still in place. Adding further excitement, APEX® roll-ups come with an inflatable keel, providing true planing performance from a roll-up. What could be easier for simple storage in either a car, RV or a boat?

Innovation in design is important to APEX®.
