Wednesday 16th September 2015

The Caribbean's representatives at the 2012 International Pairs World Finals: Max Raffoul (Dominica), Adrian Norford (St Kitts), Sir Vivian Richards and Errol Samuel (Antigua & Barbuda)

Golfers in St Kitts and Antigua are gearing up to join the Trinidad & Tobago pair of Haydn Imam and Monty Chapman, as winners of their country's International Pairs qualifiers; and in the process earn the rights to participate in the International Pairs World Finals.

The St Kitts Tourism Authority are partnering with Golf Experience Caribbean in hosting the St Kitts qualifier at the Royal St Kitts Golf Club, teeing off at 12 pm today.

Sandals Resorts, like they did with the Trinidad  and Tobago qualifier in August, are the title sponsors of the Antigua & Barbuda event, slated for Saturday, September 19 at the Cedar Valley Golf Course.

Heavy rains over the past few days have enhanced the playing conditions as two person teams seek to earn the right to represent their countries at the annual International Pairs World Finals in Spain from October 27-31.

The Caribbean has made its presence felt at the World Finals since 2006. With three countries to be represented at this year's World Finals, this will be the regions largest contingent ever, as the Caribbean is positioned to host the World Finals in the not too distant future.
