The Sandals Resorts International Pairs 2015 Caribbean Series of qualifiers tee off at the Millennium Lakes Golf & Country Club, Trinidad on Saturday, August 22.

Qualifiers will also be held in Antigua, Jamaica, St. Lucia and St. Kitts over the next five weeks. The winning two person team from each event will earn an all expenses paid trip to Spain, to represent their country at the annual International Pairs World Finals from October 27-31

Golf Experience Caribbean, based in Antigua, owns the Caribbean master franchise for International Pairs, and has facilitated Caribbean golfers participating at the World Finals since 2009.

The company's founder and CEO, Zorol Barthley, is excited about the development of the event, "we are delighted at the expansion of International Pairs in the Caribbean, and have a goal of ensuring that every amateur golfer in the Caribbean gets the opportunity to participate in our qualifiers."

Leading Caribbean hotel chain, Sandals Resorts is the title sponsor of the Caribbean Series; with the exception of St. Kitts, where the event is presented by the St. Kitts Tourism Authority.

International Pairs is the largest amateur golf tournament of its type in the world, and was created to celebrate the start of the millennium by friends touring Scotland, the home of golf.
