Protected by a chain of small uninhabited islands and a large coral reef barrier, The Peninsula consists of 3 headlands surrounded by the shallow navigable waters of Belfast Bay, a breeding ground for tropical fish and turtles.  The area is a delight for the active boater, fisherman and snorkelers. Sting Ray City is a short boat ride away and kayaking is popular in these smooth waters.

There is a large collection of unique islands and beaches that form this North Sound archipelago.The Peninsula offers a small number of waterfront building lots that take advantage of the ever present cooling trade winds and the breathtaking views. A small number of Custom architectural homes have already been built and occupied by the discerning owners, who appreciate peace, tranquility and privacy in a secure un-spoilt environment. Plots are generally of approx. 1 acre sloping towards the inlets within the bay where jetties and moorings for boats can be built, provided that all effort is made to protect the mangroves.

Architectural and building approvals are required. The choice of house layouts are tailored according to buyer’s needs and tastes but Georgina or Caribbean Style with shake roofs are preferred. Full planning permission is readily available and building can take between six months and one year depending on the size and complexity. All utilities, including electricity and telephone service, are underground.
