These days, Cambusa Gusto Italiano are supporting some of the yachts preparing to sail home (Catering on Board & Food Stock for Sail).

Some vessels in the next few days will leave the island very early, but this is totally understandable. We are in operations following our natural protocol, and guidance from Antigua's authorities. We are spacing our guests out in the restaurant and we are currently not accepting any big bookings.

Our friends and customer respect the rules and await their turn, not sitting before the table is properly sanitized. The food is always processed with care and the chefs are constantly checked – we learnt from our country (Italy) that we need to be very active and aware for prevention.

As communities around the world are coming to terms with Coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to update you on what steps we are taking and what we are doing to keep people safe and healthy.

• Our number one priority is the safety of our customers, employees and their families. All of our employees are following strict hygiene protocols that have been reinforced in compliance with the latest World Health Organization and national health guidelines.
• We are operating a strict hand-washing policy, and we have also made the decision to refrain from shaking hands to minimize any skin-to-skin contact in our restaurant.
• We have introduced additional measures like sanitizing every surface with the appropriate products.

We are closely monitoring the situation to make sure we are taking all precautions so that we can protect our customers and colleagues alike.

Our aim is to keep everyone safe and at the same time still provide the very best customer service possible in these very challenging times. We are offering clients at the restaurant and leaving crews our best culinary dishes to be consumed in our facilities, or in their boat on the way back home.
