We booked this via Booking.com after reading various reviews and spending hours looking at other resorts, we need not have worried...Coconut Beach was perfect for us, its was not busy, it is not noisy, apart from tree frogs and the reggae beat from St Johns wafting over on a sea breeze Saturday nights! Super beach, perfect for spending a relaxing time ,its probably 10 paces from your room and a further 10 to the warm sea. The food is first class and exceeded our expectations from the all inclusive package - buffet breakfast and lunch and a 'la carte in the evenings, all beautifully presented by staff who really are first class, always smiling and always polite, courteous and friendly, it would be unfair to mention names in case we left someone out, they are all superb. The rooms are fairly basic, clean,have a good shower and a comfy bed, all you need really, we did not want for any more. If you are going for the first time, we would recommend the following trips, St Johns on a Saturday morning to witness the market and carnival atmosphere, Shirley Heights on a Sunday evening, if you want the full on party up there take a taxi rather than the hotel shuttle, you will be able to stay later! Also highly recommend the boat trip around the island, its around US$220 per couple but worth it, see Frenchie when you arrive, a lovely fellow who will look after all your needs! He can also arrange fishing trips etc. We could go on and on, we met some lovely people, made new friends ,had a wonderful time and will definitely return. The hardest decision you will have to make during your stay is whether to have a rum punch or a coconut martini ....life's a beach.

Our tips...a good mozzi repellent for the evenings.Don't leave your fruit juice uncovered at breakfast if you go to the buffet as the little Bananaquits (birds) love to drink it! And use the Aloe vera plant-if you get stopped in St Johns or approached on the beach by the medicine man- buy it-its amazing on sunburn, bites ,etc. Once again, to all the staff , thank you for making ours a wonderful holiday.
