Following a successful evening of Moonlit Golf, dinner, dancing and an auction, the Jolly Harbour community raised a total of $EC40,000 towards the Haiti Relief Fund. The cheque was handed over to Mr Gerald Price of the Red Cross by C.D.A.L. General Manager Gaye Hechme, Golf Pro Ulric Francis and one of the golfers and community members who also helped organize the evening, Eve John.

The evening was great fun although auction time was cut short so that party goers could dance to live music from Itchy Feet. An online auction for the remaining  items has therefore been launched www.antiguanice.com today, from which all funds will also go to the Help Haiti Fund.

The organizers wish to thank all of the generous businesses and individuals who gave of their time and resources to make the evening a great success. Gaye Hechme comments ‘ It is wonderful to see how many people came together so quickly to assist in organization of the event. We are truly thankful to everyone who got involved as without them this could not have happened and been such a wonderful evening.’
