There was a crowd shocker at the Calypso Monarch Competition this year: defending champion De Bear was finally dethroned, after three consecutive calypso Monarch titles, by another brilliant calypsonian and his incredible performances.

Surprisingly, De Bear failed to even place the top three. But without further ado, this year's Wadadli Beer Calypo Monarch are as follows:
