MOTHER JOHN'S COTTAGES
Located in the green and hilly village of Liberta, Mother John’s Cottages occupy the upper floor of the house belonging to born and bred Antiguan Christopher John.
The village of Liberta is a 10 minute drive into English Harbour and its bustling yachting community, and only 20 minutes drive into the capital St. John’s so is an excellent base for people wishing to discover the island.
The two newly built and finished apartments have been well thought out and consist of:
• Open plan living, dining and kitchen complete with Cable Television, and a fully equipped kitchen including both a cooker and a microwave perfect for self catering vacations.
• Bedroom with two double beds, large closet space, air conditioning and fan - perfect for friends or a family with young children
• Cool and breezy gallery with dining table and chairs perfect for breakfasts and dinners al fresco, and with beautiful views of the lush interior and mountains.
Liberta is actually located in between two ridges of hills and has lot of trails to help you discover the beauty of the island by foot or bicycle. A stay at Mother John’s is a cultural experience where you can expect to leave having learned about local dishes, fruits, vegetables, and customs and, having made many new friends. You will be welcomed and treated like one of the family, and will discover the true hospitality of Antiguan people. Mr. John also runs a taxi and tour company so can advise you of tours and trips to take, or in fact take you on them himself.
Rates are very affordable at US$80 per night per apartment and include daily maid service and all linens.
