Established for more than 20 years, Tony’s Watersports & Bar is located on Dickenson Bay, one of Antigua’s best loved beaches. Run by Tony and his wife Judy (Tony’s Dad is one of Antigua’s favorite Calypsonians – King Short Shirt), this relaxed friendly hangout is one of the most popular beach bars on Antigua. Island music drifts out across the covered low level wooden deck to create a great atmosphere at the pool table, bar and kitchen.
There is a great variety of watersports offered at Tony’s – jet skis; water skiing; banana boat; tubing; parasailing; short power boat charters; snorkeling trips in a glass bottom boat; deep sea fishing; bottom fishing trips or hobie cat plus fishing or day charters to Barbuda. Safety is a prime concern and the team at Tony’s take a lot of time to ensure that you are fully briefed before you set out and will even accompany you if needed. Life jackets must be worn for all activities.
For those who want to spend a chilled out, relaxing time by the ocean, you can hire very comfortable sun loungers and sun shades and the bar staff mix a mean Pina Colada together with a whole host of other cocktails – non and alcoholic - 7 days a week.
Open daily, Esther’s Kitchen (run by Tony’s mum) offers a delicious menu combining both local dishes and European favorites to suit all tastes. With bbq chicken; fish; ribs; macaroni pie; green salad; goat water; conch water; Johnny cakes; fries (chips); rice & peas the only difficulty is deciding what to have!
Open 7 days a week, 365 days of the year from 8am until 6pm and Esther’s Kitchen from noon – 6pm daily.
