Following the success of Miramar's Day Sailing and Term Charter operations, and given its passion for sailing and love of Antigua, the formation of its own RYA Recognised Training Centre was an inevitable step. As a result, Miramar brings you the highest possible standard of sail training in the beautiful Caribbean. There can be nowhere better to learn!

For years, the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) of Great Britain has been the pioneer and guardian of Leisure Sailing Training. Respected as the leader in its field, it has evolved a “Sail Cruising & Yachtmaster Scheme”, unchallenged anywhere in the world. Thousands of experienced sailors have given their input to make this scheme the best available to leisure and career sailors alike.

All of the “Miramar Sailing” team started their careers with the RYA and progressed from total novices to RYA Certified Cruising Instructors and Yachtmaster Examiner over many years. Through the auspices of the RYA Miramar is delighted to offer you their scheme and experience, in the hope that you will develop the skills, and passion for sailing, that they enjoy.

Miramar is running a Yachtmaster preparation course with exam commencing on March 13 and there is one place yet to be filled.  A 10% discount is being offered on a Day Skipper Practical (non-tidal) course starting in April.  Look into Miramar's "Yachtmaster Xpress" (zero 2 hero) course which offers a fast track Yachtmaster combined with a superb 12-week cruising holiday down the island chain.
