We offer private, exclusive, informal and relaxed Day and Holiday Sailing cruises from the beautiful Caribbean island of Antigua. A cruise on either of our yachts will ensure that your holiday experience is one you will never forget!
From our base in Antigua we work with each of our guests to develop an individual itinerary to suit your needs, including mouth watering menu, a choice of drinks, cruising locations, snorkeling spots, and any activities or stops you may want to include in your cruise.
Antigua offers sandy, palm lined beaches with warm, blue water and calm surf breaks that present snorkelling, diving and fishing opportunities found only in a few special places around the globe.
Our Day Sailing options are catered for with our 47ft ketch "Hawnalea", and our Sailing Holidays are aboard either our 40ft. Beneteau Oceanis “Miramar” or our 40ft. Jeanneau Sun Odyssey "Danae". Either will sail you off on a “Holiday to Remember”. Our ethos is “arrive as guests, leave as friends”, and our catchphrase is “Miramar Made my Day”! SPECIAL DAY CRUISES
“Hawnalea” is available for private and exclusive parties of up to 12 guests:
•Special Day Cruises – "Sunset", "Lunch", “Special Day” or “Super Day” options.
•Special Occasion Cruises – Enjoy a “Champagne Celebration” of your Wedding, Honeymoon, Anniversary, Birthday or simply the day you fell in love!
•Collection and return of cruise liner passengers to and from their ship in St John's. (4, 5 & 6 hour cruises only)
•Our range of ‘Special Day' Cruises are from 3 to 8 hours duration and are particularly popular with holiday makers and visitors to Antigua. SAILING HOLIDAYS – minimum 2 days, maximum 14 days.
“Miramar” or "Danae" are available for private and exclusive holidays for up to 4 guests in two double cabins.
•Take a relaxed week circumnavigating Antigua to visit the superb bays and historical sites that our island is noted for.
•Enjoy a more adventurous approach and spend a week or two sailing to other islands such as Nevis, St. Kitts, Barbuda, St. Barths, St. Maarten, Guadeloupe, Isles des Saintes, Marie Galante, Dominica and more!
•The itineraries are almost infinite and there are no rules! We work closely with our guests to put together a package to suit their every need at an affordable price.
•Why not “Learn to Sail” during a relaxed and informal week sailing round the island, by taking a recognised RYA Training Course and achieve a formal certificate of qualification.You will receive expert tuition and an understanding of the mysteries of sailing from two highly qualified and experienced RYA Instructors. It is great fun – come and “learn the ropes”!

Your crew for your holiday on board "Miramar" or "Danae" will be either Brian or Pippa, or both!. They are the founders of Miramar Sailing who brought the Company to where it is today. Their love of sailing and the Caribbean, combined with their desire to introduce both to as many people as possible, has impacted on so many people, some of whom have gone on to buy their own yacht.
Both are equally well qualified as UK Royal Yachting Association Ocean Yachtmasters, as well as RYA Cruising & Shorebased Instructors.They have sailed over 100,000 miles between them across most of the oceans of the world.
Their attention to the safety of their guests and their yachts is paramount and will always be. They are true sailors with the knowledge and experience to carry you safely to wherever you want to go!
RYA CERTIFIED TRAINING
Miramar Sailing School is a recognised RYA Training Centre based in Jolly Harbour, Antigua. If you are interested in just learning the basics, or want to become a fully qualified and professional yachtsman, we offer a full range of practical and theory sailing courses.
With over 50 years of experience, the Miramar Team is fully qualified to deliver all elements of the RYA Scheme in the beautiful waters of the Caribbean Sea. Whatever your sailing aspirations may be, the Miramar School promises a memorable sailing experience.
