RICHARD WATSON: JUNE 2018 NEWSLETTERTuesday 19th June 2018
The majority of yachts have now left the harbours and departed for the Mediterranean or the east coast of the USA with just a dozen or so lazily swinging at anchor or tied to the very empty looking docks.
Peace reigns over much of the island and particularly the marine areas, which apart from the occasional visiting cruise ship, leaves much of the island largely devoid of tourists.
What a wonderful time to come and look at property. Accommodation is cheap, you can view villas or land at your leisure and relax on an empty white sand beach contemplating your future island home.
Buying in Antigua is easy and there is a lot of choice. Prices are still well below their peaks of ten years ago and, in most cases, negotiable. A little slice of ‘paradise’ could be yours for less than you think.
