Salty Dog’s Pub is owned and operated by the Laderoute family.  Dean Laderoute is also the founder of the very popular McKibbin’s Irish Pub, a very successful chain of Irish Pubs in Montreal, Canada.

Dean comes from a family of mariners, filled with sailors and sea captains dating back to the 1600s. Dean has sailed the Caribbean for the last 10 years and after spending so much time eating and drinking in hundreds of rum shops, beach bars, marinas and sailor saloons, decided that he would build a pub "by a sailor for the sailor" offering the very best of the Caribbean.
