Miramar Sailing School of Antigua is delighted to announce that Pippa Turton achieved the highest RYA Instructor status by passing her review for the RYA Yachtmaster Instructor qualification. This followed a visit to the UK in May of this year for the course, with her final assessment in Antigua in September. Pippa has now been appointed as the Chief Instructor for the School and can instruct at all levels of the RYA Sail Training & Yachtmaster Scheme, as well as qualify sailors to RYA Cruising Instructor level.

Miramar Sailing School is running its first RYA Cruising Instructor course for suitably qualified Yachtmaster Offshore candidates around October 15th. On Thursday, September 13th, the School satisfactorily impressed the RYA Recognised Training Centre Inspector to achieve a clean bill of health for its procedures and both of its yachts for the third year in succession.
