Antigua & Barbuda had a good start on day 1 of the Main draw at the ITF Tobago
Junior Tournament.
In the girls U18 competition D'Jeri Raymond defeated Trishelle Leacock of Trinidad 6-2, 6-4
In the Boys U14 competition Jevannie Ambrose defeated Aaron Soo Ping Chow of Trinidad 6-7, 6-4, 6-4 securing his spot in the Quarterfinals.
Reports from courtside indicated that both Raymond and Ambrose played marathon matches;
Raymond played 2-1/2hrs while Ambrose played 3 hrs & 45 minutes
U14 doubles competition continues later today.
