Probably the best located marina bar in Antigua, Westpoint Marina Lounge Bar's view on life is of the whole of Jolly Harbour Marina. Sit in the shade sipping a cocktail and watch the charter yachts, tour boats and private cruisers coming and going all day long.
With its place at the heart of the commercial centre, it's also a favourite stopping off spot for shoppers, residents and holiday makers wanting to get away from the hot sun and chill out, for sundowners or late into the night.
A large part of the bar is under a canopy created from sails, meaning you can relax on the comfy sofas for as long as you desire and not get toasted (well not by the sun!).
Thirsty? Choose from an excellent wine list, house drinks, superb cocktail list and of course excellent coffee, Nespresso coffee no less, where you choose your flavour and strength before being served a fresh brewed cup of steaming coffee or cooling iced coffee.
As home to the Jolly Harbour Yacht Club, if you stop by on Thursday you may run into a meeting and Saturday the crews gather for Sailing Saturday drinks and results. It's a great place to meet like minded yachties if that's your thing.
Friday a DJ is added to the mix, so take a visit, sit back under the palm trees, enjoy the sunset and make a night of it. On Fridays, the grills are fired up and the BBQ starts from 6. Come on out for burgers, chicken, fish and more.
