Footsteps Rainforest Hiking Tours is a locally run business situated in the heart of the Antigua rainforest, offering hiking tours in one of Antigua’s most beautiful and valuable conservation areas.
 

Our expert guide Dassa, who lives and works in the rainforest, will lead and entertain you on your Antigua walking tour while you explore the green scenery of Antigua.

WHAT CAN YOU LOOK FORWARD TO ON OUR GUIDED TOUR? 

Starting from the Fig Tree Studio Art Gallery, the tour takes guests to the historical Wallings Dam, through the rainforest and to the top of Signal Hill, where the full 360 degree view of Antigua is truly spectacular.

A bottle of water will be provided to each hiker at the start of the hike.
 
The tours end at the Fig Tree Studio Art Gallery where hikers are served with fresh homemade lemonade.

CUSTOM TOURS

Contact us to arrange a custom tour with all details organized to your liking.. We offer tours to alternative locations such as Rendezvous Bay and can organise lunch if desired.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll need to wear appropriate walking shoes, hiking shoes, such as trainers or walking boots are highly recommended. Flip flops and other beach shoes aren’t suitable for the terrain in the rainforest.

 

The hike is suitable for adults and children of medium fitness. No unaccompanied minors. The duration of the hike is approximately 2 hours and there are some steep areas.

 

Walking Tours are every Tuesdays and Thursdays departing at 9:00 am. Tours on other days can be arranged if needed. Booking required and payments are made before the hike starts at the Fig Tree Studio Art Gallery.
