Quite simply the best
sailing club in the Caribbean. The bay is blessed with
near perfect cross-shore trade winds which makes for
windy wonder playground for intermediate and advanced
sailors. Novices shouldn’t be put off though as they can
learn under the watchful eye of qualified instructors on
beginners specific equipment. |

Colonna
boasts one of the widest range
of dinghy fleets to be found anywhere in the Caribbean,
whilst the windsurfing equipment is extensive, modern
and bang up to date. The resort is packed with
amenities –; swimming pool; tennis court;
air-conditioned spa & gym; Kids Club; non-motorised
watersports; snorkelling equipment, mountain bikes and
of course the beach! |

For families, there is a terrific
Kids Club with a brand new purpose built nursery (separate areas
for different ages); lots of bikes, cars, scooters, activity gym
and a massive play area. Young one can let there imagination
run wild on our purpose built Pirate Ship. Experienced nannies
and great facilities make Colonna a favourite with the
youngsters and adults too! |

After a hectic day of water
sports – canoes; catamarans; dinghy sailing; motor boats;
scuba diving and windsurfing – relax and dine alfresco at
the open air, waterfront restaurant overlooking the ocean or
enjoy a delicious Caribbean rum punch at the bar. There are
also some great live bands every week and you may even get
to see Cricketing Legends Richie Richardson & Curtly Ambrose
playing with Antigua’s premier Reggae band Dread & The
Baldhead! (Richie on guitar and Curtly on bass) |
