For lovers of
history
Fort
James
dating back to 1739 has the most spectacular military heritage
in Antigua, and still has its full complement of cannons in place. The
historic site of the restaurant was rebuilt in 2005 by Russell
Hodge, (also responsible for the restoration of the now famous
Shirley Heights in 1981) and now offers a fantastic venue for
lunch, lazy afternoon drinks, sundowners and dining late into
the evening. |

True to his
Antiguan Heritage Russell offers authentic Caribbean dining,
with excellent seafood the speciality of the house. Daily fresh
lobster, shrimp, snapper and conch, along with steak and chicken
complete this simple yet tasty menu. |
