As usual the year begins
with the World Thinking Day (Feb 22) Celebrations. This
time under the theme “Food”, the calendar of Activities
were dubbed “Food for Thought”.

On World Thinking Day
Tuesday, Feb. 22 2005 every Girl Guide went to school
and work showing off the new uniform designs and
welcomed new members into the Movement at a massive
enrollment ceremony. Even Leaders (below) get their
Applause & Awards

banks (piggy banks created in the form of food items) on

Joint Founders Day Service (Girl Guides & Boy Scouts)
at St. Joseph’s Anglican Church, Old Road.

“It’s okay to be different”- A cantata
presented by the 6th Antigua Girl Guides and the Spring
Gardens Moravian Junior Choir. The girls were able to
exercise artistry through face-painting, drama, music
and song as their express their “right to be me, right
to happy, right to live in peace, right to learn, right
to be heard.”
